Bottle Number One of Cask Number One was gifted to the Master,
Mr. Andrew Graham, of Balliol College, Oxford.

Mr. Graham pointed out to us that although John Balliol certainly founded the College, it was really Lady Dervorguilla who ensured that the
College continued to exist, giving the College their first Statutes in 1282.

In many ways, the continuation of Balliol in Oxford is at least
as much a lasting memorial to her husband as is Sweetheart Abbey.
